-
Brief DescriptionMetallo β-lactamase ligand 1 is an inhibitor of class B β-lactamase exhibiting antibacterial activities.
-
DescriptionMetallo β-lactamase ligand 1 is an inhibitor of class B β-lactamase exhibiting antibacterial activities.(In Vitro):The toxicity of Metallo β-lactamase ligand 1 is extremely low in HeLa cells.(In Vivo):Administration of Metallo β-lactamase ligand 1 significantly improves the survival rate in mice infected with an experimental strain (E. coli strain into which a plasmid encoding class B β-lactamase (IMP-1) is introduced).
-
In VitroOne effective measure against β-lactam antibacterial resistant bacteria is to use an inhibitor of β-lactamase, the enzyme responsible for its resistance mechanism, together with an appropriate β-lactam antibacterial agent. The toxicity of Metallo-beta-lactamase ligand 1 (Compound A) is extremely low in HeLa cells.
-
In VivoAfter infecting mice with an experimental strain (E. coli strain into which a plasmid encoding class B β-lactamase (IMP-1) is introduced), Metallo-beta-lactamase ligand 1 (compound A; 100 mg/kg; intraperitoneal injection) is administered, and life and death are observed. Administration of Metallo-beta-lactamase ligand 1 (compound A) significantly improves the survival rate.

Amorolfine HCL
Amorolfine HCL is an antifungal reagent. It exerts the antifungal activity by selectively interrupting two steps in the pathway of ergosterol synthesis and eventually disrupting the function and structure of fungal cell membrane. Amorolfine, a morpholine antifungal drug, can inhibit D14 reductase and D7-D8 isomerase.
